Working on our future home spot

Just so excited everyday in anticipation of our lot for our future home.. Dh went over Sunday to start mowing it after work.. got late and the grass is still pretty wet from all of our recent rains so mowing was going slow then it got too dark. So with plans to continue Monday after he got off work didn't happen,, he developed horrible tooth pain and his jaw swelling.. I called the dentist and she called in antiobiotic and pain meds... so after starting them he was zonked out... the next am the dentist called to see what was wrong ,, well his back tooth had cracks in it and the nerve root was already black and dead,, so she had to pull it.. we got it packed and home ,, with orders to no do any physical activity or lifting.. course he didn't feel like it anyway.. So in a day or so we will get back on the mowing, weed eating. The garden area needs to be tilled and we have to treat for fire ants and praying the process will begin soon. God really wants us to have this lot.. Our prayers are answered to finally have our home back. Please pray for us as our process will begin soon.. Hugs, Debbie

More Creativity

Gosh been an exciting month since my post

We have been working on our lot.. gorgeous.. even has a fenced garden to begin. We are in the process of a lot of pricing and estimates and paperwork. So maybe distracted. The numbers are adding up fast.. the permits 100, water deposit 100, the sewer tap we have to have done 700, still have electric and plumbing prices to get, etc.. So I will share the artwork that I have squeezed into all of the other activities.

Tim Holtz, Alcohol Ink Splatter 4x4

Still working on learning how to rubber stamp. This technique was by Tim Holtz, using his brights alcohol inks and compressed air to spread the colors and the Ranger Glossy paper. I want to practice more of this technique.. His came out awesome.. I also chatted at him about his iron.. they discontinued it so he gave me information on where to find another craft iron.. He was on in way to the AHA and was all excited to introduce his new stuff. He is a really nice guy to chat with.. Have a great Day. Hugs. Debbie

I finished my Primative Art Atc

I just loved working on this Atc.. I rusted the paper, ticket and the metal. Then I cut out the rooster from dictionary paper and added the comb, wing and tail from paper and then used distresses inks on that. Love it.. It is going to a Inchies One xOne group member in my swaps this month. Debbie

Spring and Easter.

I made this cute Rabbit for a my PaperFollies Group.. Hugs Debbie
